DEVELOPMENT - THE HISTORY OF THE PROCESS

WORKtest is the first online psychodiagnostic software, developed specifically for the job market and occupational psychology, which is used to measure and evaluate the performance and behavior of people in work. It focuses on measurement, evaluation and peer benchmarking - Benchmarking comprehensive assessments of a person.

The development of the WORKtest psychodiagnostic system and software began early 2002. Based on an internship in the U.S. that conceived and developed ​​ the most comprehensive concepts of measuring the performance of human resources, including its specific risk factors, that exists within occupational psychology and HR management, HR and the job market. The aim was to build a comprehensive and unified psychodiagnostic tool with maximum possible effect that therefore eliminates the need to build complex battery tests to evaluate a large portfolio of performance requirements. Since the beginning of the development, the methodology has been adapted to not allow any distortion and stylization by the respondent and thus retains the highest possible level of objectivity. Various studies were carried out throughout its development and also during workshops with recruiters and HR, especially during the period 2003-2005. The aim was to develop a tool that will, as far as possible, fit in with the needs of human resources management. Another internship in the U.S. from 2005 to 2007 clearly confirmed the goals and objectives of the developing system and also led to the creation of a catalogue of job positions, which started as a standard catalogue, and, in doing so, we have cooperated with international companies that provide worldwide recruitment. We became involved with the most profiled positions in Europe, and these in turn formed the basis for the compilation of the jobs catalogue. In its present form, this is the standard catalogue of work and corporate positions and includes positions specially compiled for individual companies. In total, the system contains about 2000 jobs classified in 22 fields of activity. During 2010-2011, a new special KPP (job catalogue) of selected fields was also prepared and published and currently has about 500 most frequent jobs. It has become an indispensable tool for recruiters and HR managers, since it is fully consistent with global standards of job description.

The last internship in the U.S. in 2011 enabled us to take an interesting look especially at the risk factors associated with corrupt conduct and behavior, corruption and theft (fraud) as well as to compare performance and moral aspects of personality with regards to other risk factors within selected occupations. Based on experience and practice, we have included normal standards expected by the population as a guideline for comparison. More information can be found in the validation studies.

The scale and complexity of WORKtest’s unique software solutions and its tools for comprehensive assessment and measurement(i.e. not only the behavior, intellect, temperament and other personality traits, as is the case with conventional and available questionnaires and tests), human resources including individual risk factors reflecting typical, modern-day behavior and its trends, which undoubtedly corruption and theft are. The name CT human resources has been applied to the evaluations of our clients and users- a total evaluation of an individual. At present, the development is complete, but further improvements are being made to the validation and benchmarking studies, and further upgrades continue at the wishes of our clients.

In 2012, we publicly launched our Inscrutability Tests and therefore we have joined with the public in the fight against corruption.

The whole development of the psychodiagnostic WORKtest was financed entirely by our own resources, by our own efforts to develop professionally, and without the participation of European subsidies, of which we are proud because it is the work of our specialists. There is currently no other system or software to match that of WORKtest’s, even if there is a number of other forms of diagnosis. There are about 4,500 to 6,000 various types of diagnostic tools.

Given the scale is not possible to give a list of all the information in a nutshell, but we can provide at least a few distinguishing characteristics:

  • It possesses no predictive character as is the case with most surveys and tests, and also is not based on self-reporting, but instead directly measures and evaluates clearly pre-defined criteria (which amount to about 300) and ratings with significant accuracy measured in percentage and time.
  • It is unique because of its method of measurement and evaluation, and thus differs from standard questionnaires, tests and test batteries to be found on the market. It deals with the objective measurement of human potential at a maximum range of skill and ability.
  • The accuracy of WORKtest is, according to the latest, extensive validation studies which are based on European standards, 0.92. The maximum is 1, which means that the results have very high accuracy and can be used as a key criterion for decision making, which standard tests or questionnaires cannot.
  • It is the only psychometric software on the labor market able to measure a candidate’s suitability for a particular job, assess each their potential, recruit and select individuals for a specific position whilst including all the tender processes – more at: www.irecruitment.cz The WORKtest system is complemented by a standard catalogue of corporate jobs, which now numbers about 2,000 positions to which constant additions are made. In addition to these dictionaries are in the system and KPP.
  • Results are highly professionalized and above all clear, containing a straightforward description of the evaluation criteria, including graphs generated in PDF reports. The clearly defined items are understandable to laymen, and their descriptions fully reflect the language and communication of work psychology.
